Russell Frederick Sharf's Obituary
Russell Frederick Sharf, age 60, of Algonac, went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2020. He was born October 29, 1959 to Gorden and Rose Mary Sharf. Russell proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army in Korea. He worked for Shoreline Steel for 25 years. Russell loved photography, riding his motorcycle, cooking, boating, and animals. He was an avid collector of hot sauce, and was always up to the challenge in trying the hottest flavors. He was a true gentleman, that shared nothing but kindness and love to those around him. Along with being a gentleman, Russell was known to be stubborn at times. He will forever be remembered being loyal and devoted to his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Sharf; step daughter, Anita Hickson; mother and step father, Rose Mary and Harry Kelly; beloved, Beverly Babcock; siblings, Gorden Sharf, Fred Sharf, Lori (Mike) Banes, Sue (Paul) Elliott, Leslie Hankey, Steve Hankey, Vy Graham, Lucy Parent, Connie (Ron) Tyvaert; grandchildren, Gabriel, Navon, Javias, Anarie.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gorden Sharf, and sister, Carol Perkins.
