Roy James King III's Obituary
Roy James King III, age 56, of China Twp., passed away May 7, 2019. He was born January 13, 1963 in Mt. Clemens. On June 24, 1994 he married Kelly Morrison in Detroit.
Roy was a member of Iron Workers Local 25. He assisted on the construction of Comerica Park and the second span of the Blue Water Bridge. He currently was a 17 year employee of the Detroit Edison.
Roy is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kelly King; daughters, Erin and Katie King; mother, Deloris King; siblings, Kim, Joel, Troy, Kathleen and Ryan.
He was preceded in death by his son, R.J. King and father Roy King Jr.
A memorial visitation will be Saturday June 1st from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A memorial service will take place Saturday June 1st at 5:30 p.m. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
