Roy J. Griffor Jr.'s Obituary
Roy J. Griffor, Jr., age 71, of Warren, formerly of Marine City, passed away April 13, 2023. He was born January 6, 1952 in St. Clair to the late Roy and Mary Ann Griffor.
He graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1970. Roy then graduated from Walsh College with a Bachelor Degree in accounting. He then worked as a CPA for over 30 years in the banking industry.
He loved to travel and in retirement he worked with the homeless and people down and out.
Roy is survived by his siblings; Paul (Ann) Griffor, Ron (Annette) Griffor and Carla (Trevor) Brazell,Best friend Joe MccLorrey, He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his niece; Samantha Borgula.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18 at Our Lady on the River Parish, Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City with visitation at church one hour prior to mass. Visitation at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. will be Sunday, April 16 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, April 17 from
4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Rosary will be Monday at 7:00 p.m. at funeral home.
