Roy L. Bowers' Obituary
Roy L. Bowers, age 81, of Marine City, passed away on May 31, 2025. He was born on March 30, 1944. Roy honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He married the love of his life, Bonne Berg on November 21, 1964. Roy was a selfless man, who was kind to everyone he met. He was always helping people, from relatives to friends and neighbors. He worked for General Motors for 30 years. He had a blessed life. Roy enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and swimming in their pool. Roy’s family thanks the Lord for giving them the best husband and father.
He is survived by his wife of 61 Years, Bonne; son Patrick, as well as several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Bowers, as well as 4 siblings.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, June 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Following the visitation, there will be a procession to Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp., where a graveside service will take place at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Marine City Fire Department.
