Ross L. Golder's Obituary
Ross L. Golder, age 92, of St. Clair, peacefully went to be with the Lord in heaven with his loving wife by his side on March 28th, 2025. He was born on January 30, 1933 to the late Adolph and Joanne Golder. Ross proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Mary Ann Oman on March 29, 1957. Ross owned and operated R.L. Golder Trucking. A business he ran for over 50 years. Ross was a selfless man, who took great pride in working hard to provide for his family. He was a handy man, and enjoyed the challenge in fixing or working on new projects. His incredible work ethic and generous soul will be missed by those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Ann; children, Suzanne (Chuck) Slaght, Patti Golder; grandchildren, Erin (Guy) Clarke, Sydney Hale; great grandchildren, Brycen Slaght, Landree Polley; siblings, Richard (Janice) Golder, Mollie Killian, Barb VanCamp, Sue (Mike) Connor, as well as several special nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son, Donald Golder and grandson, Chad Slaght.
Cremation arrangements with Young Funeral Home, China Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Clair First Global Methodist Church, 415 North 3rd Street, St. Clair., MI, 48079.
