Ronald "Ron" Lowes' Obituary
Ronald “Ron” Lowes Sr., age 70, of China Twp. died August 23, 2009. He was born March 14, 1939 in Marine City to Russell and Evona Lowes.
Ron married Marie Chartier on September 9, 1961 in Marine City. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Lowes is survived by his wife, Marie. Children; Ron (Ginger) Lowes Jr., Christine (Matthew) Dean, Robert Lowes, and Richard Lowes. Grandchildren; Michael, Hanna, Angela, Elijah, and Aryn. Sister, CarrollAnn Genaw and Brother, Joel (Debbie) Lowes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by son Michael Lowes. Parents, Russell and Evona Lowes, and sister, NorahLee Rataj.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 11am with Rev. Matthew Dean Officiating. Visiting is Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Additional visitation is on Friday from 10-11am prior to the service. www.youngcolonial.com.
