Ronald Lee Knight's Obituary
Ronald L. Knight, age 82, of Marine City, passed away July 29, 2015. He was born to the late Howard and Bernice Knight on January 19, 1933 in Detroit. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Louise Kutnieski on May 16, 1989 in Ohio. He owned and operated Marine City Marina for many years. He enjoyed boating, scuba diving and snowmobiling.
He is survived by his wife; Louice Knight, step-children; Alysia (Dennis) White and Christy Boyle-Osterbeck. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Marissa DuVall, Amanda White, and August and Cameron Osterbeck, brother; Donald (Sally) Knight, sisters in-law; Kathy Biernacki, Jean Rymiszewski, and Chris Lamb, brother in-law; John (Jackie) Kutney, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sons; Lee Knight, Todd Knight and step-father; Marvin Lohr.
Military honors will be given at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August, 3 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Memorials may be given to family wishes. To leave the family a message of comfort please visit: www.youngfuneralservices.com
