Ronald Glassnor passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 78.
A devoted husband to Susan for 41 years, Ron was the rock of a large and loving family. He was the proud father of Rodney, Jeffrey (Rebecca), Carrie (Kenneth) Gander, Ashley, Travis, Lamont, Taylor, Kiah, Shea-Christine, Robert, Quinn, Lucas, and Marissa. Cherished grandfather of Jevon, Rodney II, Phoenix, Ethan, Ellie, Emilia, Phoebe, Penelope, Brooklyn, Micah, Kennedy, and great grandfather of Evelyn.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Jean Glassnor, as well as his siblings Luis, Carol, Phyllis, Bonnie, and Donald.
A man who believed in hard work and simple pleasures, Ron was happiest outdoors, whether camping with family, tossing horseshoes with friends, or cheering on his favorite Detroit sports team but most of all, he loved his family and being a foster parent.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 4th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 4061 St Clair Hwy, East China Township.
