Ronald Akred, Sr.'s Obituary
Ronald James Akred Sr., age 75, of St. Clair died June 14, 2011. He was born July 26, 1935 to the late Joseph and Elsie Akred.
He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He was one of the founding members of the St. Clair Childrens Recreation Committee.
Ronald married Karen Schriner on October 24, 1959 in St. Clair.
He is survived by wife; Karen Akred, children Kimberly (Price) Smith, Ronald Jr.(Nita) Akred, Kurt Akred, Kathryn ( Bruce) Bacon
grandchildren; Devin Smith, Jeremy, Kyle, Myles, and Lindsey Akred, Justin and Jenna Bacon
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday June 20 at Immanuel Luthern Church, St. Clair
Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. and from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at church. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
