Mr. Robert C. Vandenbossche's Obituary
Robert C. Vandenbossche, age 85, of China Twp., died May 30, 2014.
He was born November 4, 1928 in Mt. Clemens to the late Daniel and Mary Vandenbossche. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952. Robert was a lifetime area farmer and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City and enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his brothers; Bernard (Audrey) Vandenbossche, Thomas (Martha) Vandenbossche and Norman (Ruth) Vandenbossche, sisters; Mary (Williams) Furtaw and Margaret (William) McCulley and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brothers; Joseph and Louis Vandenbossche and sister; Joann Beauvais. Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be Friday June 6th at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Our Lady on the River Parish. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Church, Our Lady on the River Parish.
