Mr. Robert G. Robbins' Obituary
Robert G. Robbins, age 78, of China Twp., died May 4, 2014. He was born September 21, 1935 in Highland Park to the late Robert B. and Shirley Robbins. Robert served his country faithfully from 1954 to 1958 with the U.S. Air Force.
On February 2, 1957 he married Betty Lantz. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Betty Robbins, children; Debra (George) Bremerkamp, Karen (Tom) Wilson, Robert (Kelly) Robbins and Randal Robbins, grandchildren; George Jr. (Angie), Alan (Chris), Josh, Adam (Brittanie), Amanda, Whitney, Jonathan, Jared, Brayden and Aaron, great grandchildren; Evan and Morgan, sister; Shirley (Gary) Ward, brothers; Tim (Sheila) Robbins and Dan (Carol) Robbins, sister in law; Ruth Robbins and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by brothers; Eric and Fred Robbins and sister; Linda Artman.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be Thursday May 8th from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.
