Robert "Bob" Oliver's Obituary
Robert “Bob” Oliver, age 63, of Marysville, passed away peacefully with family by his side following a short illness on March 2, 2020. He was born November 11, 1956 to the late Neuman and Mabel Oliver. Bob was an eagle scout as well as an active member in boy scouts. He loved to fish and go to Detroit Tigers games. He and his son, Chad, would travel to different ball parks around the county to watch the Tigers play. Bob’s greatest love was his grandsons; Hunter, Parker, Miles, and Silas. He especially enjoyed watching Hunter and Parker play sports.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rosemarie; children, Casey (Steve) Freeland, Chad (Katie) Oliver; grandsons, Hunter and Parker Freeland, Miles and Silas Oliver, as well as many special family members and friends.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Thursday, March 12 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
