Mr. Robert L. Menzies' Obituary
Robert Leon Menzies passed on Monday March 11th at the age of 78
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Lettie Menzies of Gaylord Michigan, and 7 siblings.
Bob was born and raised in Gaylord Michigan. Bob married Hilda-Anne Georgeson on November 24th 1951. Together they have 4 Children, Rosanne, Robert, Marguerite and Keith. They have 14 grand children and 7 great grand children.

Robert and Hilda moved to Mount Clemens Michigan, where Bob went on to work at the National Mailing Corporation in Detroit for 14 years where he eventually became part owner. Afterwards, he began a successful career as a service station owner from the mid 60s until the 90s when he retired.
He and his wife also owned and operated a successful American Saddlebred Horse breeding farm in St.Clair.
His interests included; Boating, Antique Ford Model A’s in which he had several over the years. He also loved air planes and often talked about how he wished he could have been a pilot. In fact, he used to take the family to watch aircraft take off and land at Selfridge Air Base in Mt.Clemens Sunday afternoon drives to get ice cream in the summer, skiing and tobogganing and helping others diagnose car troubles.
The family would like thank the staff of the St.Clair Medilodge for the care and support provided during his stay.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
