Robert E. McGuire's Obituary
Robert E. McGuire, age 88, of St. Clair passed away surrounded by family January 17, 2022. He was born January 26, 1933 in Detroit to the late Francis and Delia McGuire. Robert married Joan Barany on June 29, 1957 and she preceded him in death on August 3, 2020.
Robert was a carpenter at heart he thoroughly enjoyed building houses and always stayed busy with projects. He also loved the time he got to spend with his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons, Robert (Susanne) McGuire, Steven (Pamela) McGuire, Clifford McGuire, Andrew (Michele) McGuire; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife Joan, along with many brothers, sisters and several loving family members.
A Funeral Mass will be Friday January 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair with visiting Thursday January 20, 2022 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
