Robert L. "Bob" Eckerty's Obituary
Robert Le "Bob" Eckerty, age 51, of Southgate, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2021. He was born in Vietnam to Jimmie and Giau Eckerty. He married Michelle Lang on September 4, 2021.
Bob worked as a crane operator for Local 324. He loved Michigan football and was a season ticket holder. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family most of all.
He is survived by his wife; Michelle Eckerty, daughters; Krystal and Kennedy Eckerty, mother; Giau Eckerty and step-father; Curtis Rueter, step-mother; Sue Eckerty. He is also survived by; step-son; David Garza, step-daughter; Ali (Robert) Kaczperski, step-son; Brad Mead (Shannon Tylen), grandchildren; Joanna, Emma, Leigha, Jesse, Jaxson Kaczperski, Bryce Tylen and Orion Tylen-Mead, his sister; Debbie (Mike) Smith, brothers; Rodney Eckerty (Tina McWilliams), Tommie Eckerty (Dawn Shaffer), James (Lisa) Eckerty, Kim Hui (Courtenay) Eckerty, special nieces; Chylar and Kinsley, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; Jimmie Eckerty.
