Robert M. Green's Obituary
Robert M. Green, age 89, of St. Clair, died December 13, 2016. He was born August 11, 1927 in St. Clair to the late Martin and Hazel Green. On June 9, 1951 Robert married Doris Wright. She preceded him in death on May 12, 2006.
Bob served with the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He worked for 23 years for the U.S. Postal Service retiring in 1985. Bob was also a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair.
He is survived by his children, Martin (Nancy) Green, Mickey (Keith) McWain and Mary Forys; grandchildren, Kara (Bobby) Mills, Keith (Lauren) McWain, Stephanie Green, Amanda (Lance) Thorpe and Danielle Green and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Cuthbertson.
Funeral service will be Friday December 16th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Friday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to service. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
