Bob, as I knew him, was an amazing man. I met him many years ago at a gaming convention. We shared a love for the Amber DRPG. I had the pleasure of being a Game Master in many games at the conventions. He had a great imagination, and came up with some really good surprises as a player. As a friend, he had a heart of gold, and loved listening as well. He was a regular at AmberCon in Livonia, MI. I will miss his sense of humor and smile.
RIP, Bob. Go in love and peace. Hope you're playing with Erick, Roger, and Tymem.

Bob Ewert was a high school classmate who left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He was a very nice man and smart as a whip. It came as no surprise to learn that Bob went on to have a full and successful career as an engineer, a profession well suited to his intelligence, curiosity, and problem-solving nature.
Bob carried himself with quiet decency and kindness, qualities that stayed with him throughout his life. He was someone people respected not just for what he accomplished, but for who he was.
The world lost a good person when Bob passed away, and he will be remembered fondly by classmates, friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

I graduated with Bob in 1981 and we shared the same church. His dad was our family dentist. Bob was shy, but oh so kind and respectable, never said a unkind thing about anyone. He was truly a kind and gentle soul, the type that our world needs more of! I am very sad.... sending love and prayers to his family. Mary Cornish

Here is a photo of Bob from 2018.
Bob was my co-worker at Dürr for 13 years. He was always kind, professional, and knowledgeable.
Bob was always happy to talk about anime with me. We would often talk about what anime we were watching and giving each other recommendations.
He gave me a book called "A Night in Lonesome October" that is written from a dog's perspective, has 31 chapters, and is an absolute delight.
Bob was always a joy to talk to; I really enjoyed having him as a co-worker. He is missed.
To the Ewart family, sorry for your loss.
