Robert E. "Bob" Miller's Obituary
Robert E. “Bob” Miller, age 78, of China Twp., formerly of Sterling Heights, passed away January 4, 2019. He was born November 13, 1940 in Detroit to the late Harold and Marie Miller.
On May 7, 1960 Bob married Jean Haemelinck in Detroit. He honorably served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army. Bob owned and operated C & M Garage in Roseville for over 20 years. Bob could build or fix anything. He was affectionately known as his family’s handyman.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Jean Miller; daughters, Ann Marie (Ronald) Voelker, Karen Gregg (Doug Travis) and Julie (Thomas) Schwaiger; grandchildren, Sandra (Brandon) Rush, Laura Gniazdoski, Marissa Gregg, Tim Gregg, Adriana Schwaiger and Alexander Schwaiger; great grandchildren, Bryce and Sienna and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by siblings, Harold Miller, Mary Weir and Gerald Miller.
A memorial service will be held Saturday January 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Rev. Michael Quaine will officiate. The family will receive visitors prior to service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Clair.
