Beth Ann Hughes Rufo
Bob was a good friend. He loved his Catholic schooling in Philadelphia and thought highly of the priests from North Catholic and the sisters who taught him at St. Helena's in Olney and at St. Veronica's in North Philly. He was a close friend to Tom and Cathy Reilly and to Tom Cronin (who died a few years ago). He enjoyed running all his life and kept in good shape. Bob wanted a Ph.D and hoped to be able to work toward it. I'm sure the Lord awarded it to him in heaven! He was a great dancer and loved going to the different weekend dances held in Catholic schools and meeting new people each time. It was important to him to come to Philadelphia for the grade school reunions and be with former classmates. He was Best Man for Tom Reilly when Tom and Cathy were married, and they remained close friends over the years. May our Risen Lord welcome Bob to the fullness of life with him and the Father, may his soul experience the joy and peace of being with his Mother and Father and Buddy and those he loved well and true, those in heaven and those still on earth.
Lisa and Linda, thank you for your care for Bob. It was a shock to open the Sunday Inquirer and find word of his death. Beth Ann Hughes Rufo, North Wales, PA
