Robert J. "Moon" Blank's Obituary
Robert J. “Moon” Blank, age 68, of Marine City, passed away October 13, 2021. He was born April 22, 1953 in Detroit to the late Robert and Frances Blank.
Robert was a 27 year employee of Holsbeke Construction in Mt. Clemens. He was an avid sportsman who loved fishing, hunting and just spending time outdoors. Robert will be missed by his fellow members of the Southeastern Michigan Conservation Club.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, Linda Blank. He is survived by his daughter, Christy Blank (Jonathan); stepsons, James (Heather) DeSnyder and Brian DeSnyder (Amanda); 11 grandchildren, Aiden, Savannah, Bentley, Avery, Alayah, Abbey, Alivia, Aliana, Desi, Kelsey and Mia; siblings, Terry Blank, Larry Blank and Carol (Bill) Peterson; nephews, Tom and Dan Blank and special friend, Lori Lipa. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at the Southeastern Michigan Conservation Club, 2402 Belle River Road, East China Twp., MI 48054 with a luncheon to follow.
