Rita McCallum's Obituary
Rita H. McCallum, age 76, of St. Clair, died unexpectedly in her home October 17, 2009.
She was born May 5, 1933 in Detroit to the late Patrick and Alice Dorcey.
On June 25, 1955 Rita married Roy McCallum, he preceded her in death 1990.
Rita retired from Blue Water Plastics Co. in December of 2007.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair and the Fr. Solanus Guild.
She is survived by her children;
Mary Therese (Hank) Beekley, Michael (Janice) McCallum, Maureen McCallum, Mitzi Leonard, Melissa (Peter) Auchter and Shannon Marino.
Grandchildren; Nicholas, Patrick, Megan, Raeshelle, Brendan, Luke, Ryan, and Lauren.
Siblings; Mary Brack, Margaret (Joe) Orlando, and many nieces and nephews.
Rita was preceded in death by brothers; Gerry, Frank, and Ed.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass.
Memorials may be made to Fr. Solanus Guild.
