Richard W. "Dick" Czenkus' Obituary
Richard W. "Dick" Czenkus, age 78, of Casco Twp., passed away December 19, 2020. He was born December 21, 1941 in Detroit to the late Edward and Lorraine Czenkus. He married Laurie Forton on July 19, 1986.
Dick enjoyed golf, playing horseshoes, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and spending time with them most of all. He also belonged to the St. Clair Gun and Fishing Club.
He is survived by his wife; Laurie Czenkus, his daughter; Angela (Bill) Phinney, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, daughters in-law; Denise Czenkus and Rose Czenkus. He is also survived by his siblings; Gail (Bill) Kloeffler, Barbara (Mike) Lump, Steve (Sherie) Czenkus and sister in-law; Stella Czenkus, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sons; Tom Czenkus and David Czenkus, brother; Mike Czenkus and sister; Kay Rivard.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Facemasks will be required for visitation and service. Memorials may be made to wishes of the family.
