Mr. Richard L. Persley's Obituary
Richard Lee Persley of Casco Township died on June 8, 2013, due to complications with Alzheimer’s. He was 74. He died peacefully with Joann Miller, Diane Volrich, and Don Volrich at his side. Richard was born in Detroit, the only child of the late Walter John Persley and Velma Maye Burgan. Richard worked at Ford for over 39 years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and four wheeling. He leaves behind Joann Miller, his significant other for nearly 40 years, his two sons: Richard Allen Persley; and Scott Persley and his granddaughter: Katherine Lee Ann Persley. Cremation has taken place and arrangements for urn interment have been made at Hillside Cemetery, in St. Clair, MI. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home. www.youngcolonial.com
