Richard “Hank” Kammer, age 70, of Casco Twp., passed away unexpectedly at home on April 14, 2021. He was born June 27, 1950. Richard retired from Biewer Lumber after 29 years of work. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rose K Read Obituary
I would see Mr. Kammer as he worked hard serving the needs of our church. He cleaned our building for many years. He was a faithful hard working man. He and I would chat occasionally. I know he loved his kid and adored his grand kids! He is going to leave a void that no one can fill. My prayers for Rose and all that loved him. Theresa
Hank was my father in law for many years, but more importantly, my friend. He was the kind of guy that was never upset, never stressed, he would always share his smokes and beers with me, no matter how few he had, he was that kind of guy. The most disturbed I ever saw him, was when his dad died. He told me he needed a drink, and as his friend, I went and got him one and brought it to the funeral home. The irony in that is that I'm quite sure the people that judged him and I for drinking at his dad's loss, are now having a drink over losing him. Rest in peace my friend.
