Mr. Richard Walter Jaronoski's Obituary
Richard Walter Jaronoski, age 72, of China Twp., died January 26, 2015. He was born on January 30, 1942 in Detroit to the late Walter and Stella Jaronoski. He served with the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1964 and married Dawn Grant on July 3, 1972.
Rich retired from Michigan Consolidated Gas Co. after 30 years of service. After retirement he worked for the Algonac State Park for 16 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St.Clair.
Rich was an avid hunter and outdoorsmen. He enjoyed trips to the casino in his motorhome and especially loved going to his property in the Upper Peninsula.
He is survived by his wife; Dawn Jaronoski, chilren; Richard, Jr. (Angela) Jaronoski, Deanna Delikta (Wayne), Timothy Sullivan III, Richard (Corinna) Weaver, and Robert Weaver.
He is also survived by his grandchildred; Alexandria and C.J. Jaronoski, Grant and Sydney Weaver and Marcus and Jessica Reynolds, greatgrandchildren; Abigail Dawn, Benjamin and Mason Reyolds, a sister; Rosalie Schweihofer, sister in law; Gail Viznau and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be missed by his beloved basset hound Jake.
Rich was preceded in death by a brother; Robert Jaronoski and brothers in law; Jack Schweihofer and Larry Viznau. Funeral services will be Friday January 30th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass.
