Richard Biscorner's Obituary
Richard Biscorner, age 90, of Cottrellville Twp., passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025. He was born October 21, 1934, to the late George and Marjorie Biscorner. Richard worked for Chris-Craft in Algonac from age 15 until their shop closed down. Even after his retirement, Richard continued to work on boats when it was either time to winterize or get the boats ready for spring. Richard married Betty Jo Knight on April 2, 1955, who preceded him in death on August 8, 1997. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 2 years. Serving as part of the recovery and evacuation team in Germany. In his spare time, Richard would be found in his garage tinkering on what needed to be fixed. Fixing his lawnmower engine, car engine, or organizing his tools. Richard enjoyed keeping himself busy in his garage.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherrie Metris; grandchildren, Nicholas Metris, Becky (Aaron) Mathews, Jennifer (Stewart Easling) Metris, Matthew (Toshua) Metris; several beloved great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Redfield; brother, Charles (Jane) Biscorner; brother-in-law, Bill Knight; sister-in-law, Sue Biscorner as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, George Biscorner, Don Biscorner, Jack Biscorner, Louann Wawrzyniak, Bill Biscorner; son-in-law, Byron Metris.
