Rhea B. Wolf's Obituary
Rhea B. Wolf, age 90, of Casco Twp., died October 3, 2016. She was born on December 21, 1925 in Richmond on the family farm to the late Joseph and Charlotte Wolf.
She retired from Detroit Gasket in Marine City after 42 years of employment. Rhea also spent many years working side by side with her brothers and sisters on the farm.
She was a lifelong member of St. Matthews U.C.C., Adair and a lifetime member of Perch Point Conservation Club, and also a former member of the Port Huron Museum and Richmond Historical Society. Rhea was a staunch democrat enjoyed politics and was active within her party. Rhea traveled extensively. She took many trips overseas and across the United States with her many friends. She also enjoyed many trips to her cabin in St. Helen, Michigan.
She is survived by James (Leslie) Marker, who she considered as her own son, and their children;
Lorie (Brian) Ouellette and family, Julie (Jeremy) Sramek and family and Jamie (Jason) Moore and family.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many close friends. She was preceded in death by brothers; Elmer Wolf, Art Wolf, and Floyd Brinley, sisters; Grace Wolf, Irene Wolf and Virginia Riedel.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7 at St. Matthews U.C.C. of Adair. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and at church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Richmond Cemetery.
