Raymond Schroeder's Obituary
Raymond A. Schroeder, age 47, formerly of Marine City, died February 15, 2010.
He was born September 2, 1962 in St. Clair.
Raymond graduated from Marine City High School in 1980.
He served his country with the Army, 82nd Airborne Division.
He was a member of Roofers Local #149 and had also obtained his builders license.
He was an active member of AA groups in the Macomb County area, where he gave many inspirational speeches. Raymond loved riding his bike, working out, and participating in triathalons. He also had a passion for reading satisfying his desire to continue learning.
He is survived by his mother Sharon Biscorner, sister, Deborah (Mitchell) Bean, brother, Ryan Biscorner, and close friend, Larry Biscorner. He will also be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond N. Schroeder and his grandparents.
Visiting hours are Saturday February 20, 2010 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. A rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Saturday. No further services are scheduled.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
