Raymond "Ray" Hicks' Obituary
Raymond “Ray” Hicks, age 89, of St. Clair passed away May 10, 2025. Ray was born July 22, 1935 in Detroit to Raymond and Lollie Hicks. On February 7, 1959 Ray married Marge Jaeckle and enjoyed 62 years of marriage. Ray is survived by his sons Ray and Randy; daughter, Kim (Dave) Huxhold; grandchildren Trevor and Megan; brothers-in-law Denny Force and Gary (Paula) Jaeckle, and sisters-in law Jane Hicks and Mary Ann (Larry) Lowe and Marty Kerr; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Marge and parents, brothers Thomas and Dennis (Marylene), sister Patricia Force.
Ray was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. He started his career as an Industrial Cutting Tool Representative and purchased a company he represented. He ran the company with his wife and children until retirement.
