Ray, my dear friend, rest in peace. I recall the many things we did together in high school. We rode our motorcycles together everywhere. I recall the trip you wanted to make back in 1972 where you and I rode our motorcycles to Cedar Pointe in the freezing cold. Your Christmas cards each year said that you were going to ride your motorcycle to see me at my new home in Greenville, SC - maybe "next year." Well, I guess next year will not come this time. My mom always enjoyed having you over while we were in high school. I recall a trip to Dallas where you picked me up at the airport and showed me around. What great fun. Who would have known that would be the last time we would be together. God bless you and your entire family. I really hope that your family knows how much you meant to me. My friend, rest in peace...until we meet in a better place again...
