Mr. Raymond "Ray" J. Campbell's Obituary
Raymond, "Ray" J. Campbell, 91 of Marine City, Michigan went to be with his heavenly father, Friday, November 7th, 2014
at his home. Raymond was born August 20th, 1923 in St. Clair, Michigan. In 1950 he married Jean Carr.
He is survived by his wife Jean of 64 years; Sons, Roger (Gail) Campbell, Paul Campbell; Daughters, Connee (Jim) Burton,
Maria (Keith) Kammer, loving grandchildren, Becky, Jennie, Jay, Val, Jaime, Randy and Jack.
Great-grandchildren, Leighanna, Cain, Rory, Cameron, Christian, Kevin, DeMarco, Jacob, and Conrad.
Raymond "Crazy Legs" Campbell was employed by Detroit Edison and retired in 1985 after 35 years of dedicated service.
After retiring, Ray worked for Boulier Heating and Cooling for 10 years.
He was a proud Navy Serviceman and was a member of the 91st Seabee construction battalion.
Raymond enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, painting, wood-working and any type of hands-on project.
A talented iron worker, he could fix anything at any time. Ray was always there to lend a hand to everyone.
He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, papa and friend to all, and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be Tuesday November 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with Pastor Donald
Barth officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City. Visitation is Monday November 10th from 2:00 to
4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Faith Baptist Church of Macomb County.
