Mr. Ralph William Johnson's Obituary
Ralph William Johnson, age 84, of St. Clair, died January 9, 2015. He was born March 23, 1930 in East Detroit. Ralph served his country with the U.S. Marines from 1952 to 1954. On August 18, 1951 Ralph married Marion Zweng in St. Clair. He was a retiree of Eugene Welding. Over the years Ralph enjoyed playing guitar and holding jam sessions at his home. He played golf in leagues at Pine Shores Golf Course and bowled in the Ma & Pa League in St. Clair for many years. He and his wife Marion also spent many years together camping.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Marion Johnson, daughters; Sharon Collins, Diane (George) Delor and Beverly (Paul) Snyder, grandchildren; T.J. Collins, Paul and Allen Snyder and Kristin and Jamie Delor, sister; Loretta Rejc and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother; Robert Johnson and sister; Betty Schmidt.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday January 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Assoc.
