Mrs. Pearl Mae Lipke's Obituary
Pearl Mae Lipke, age 90, of Casco passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014, in the Blue Water Hospice Home. Pearl was born May 4, 1924 to the late Herman and Mary (Schneider) Stern. She married Russel A. Lipke on October 7, 1944. He preceded her in death on November 3, 2007.
Pearl graduated from St. Clair High School in 1942. She worked for many years at Macomb County Bank in Muttonville, MI. Pearl was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Peters and was involved in many activities of the church. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends and card club of 40 years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as our "Granny Pearl".
Pearl is survived by her daughters, Nancy Zielinski and Carol (Leon) VanTroostenberghe, granddaughter, Jessica VanTroostenberghe, step grandchildren, Sherri (Steve) Parmentier, Michelle Zielinski (Jay Zoch), step-great grandchildren, Bryan, Stephanie and Andrew Parmentier, sister, Doris (Norman) Mrosewske, sisters in law, Violet Osterland and Myrtice Lipke, special caregiver, Susie Lentz and dear friend, Betty Prange, special niece, Arlene (Marvin) Powers and many dear nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Russel, son, Gary Lipke, son in law, Thomas Zielinski and step grandson, Edward Zielinski.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday June 24th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Casco Twp. Pastor Kristen Ulmanis will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Casco Twp. Visiting hours are Monday, June 23rd from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to service.
