Patrick William Landon's Obituary
Patrick William “Pat” Landon 82, of St. Clair, Michigan passed away March 31, 2026 after a short illness.
He was born on March 14, 1944 in St. Clair, Michigan to the late Eleanor and Norbert Landon.
Pat graduated from St. Stephen High School in 1962 and Lawrence Technological University in 1968. He was then drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War achieving the rank of Sergeant E-5. In August of 1970, Pat was awarded The Bronze Star Medal for Meritorious Achievement In Ground Operations Against Hostile Forces in the Republic of Vietnam.
After his discharge, he started his career as an Architectural Engineer at Eberle M. Smith Associates and then Ghafari Associates LLC, both prominent Detroit and Dearborn, Mi based Architecture and Engineering firms.
Pat was an avid duck and deer hunter. However, his true love was fishing for walleye on the St. Clair River. He enjoyed many “Wild Man” game dinners and fish frys with his brothers and close friends.
Pat is survived by his siblings; Catherine Landon and David (Margaret) Landon. Nephew; Courtney Landon (Troy Wangen), Nieces; Katie (Travis) Frazer, Abby Landon and Maggie (Nathaniel) Tortora. Grand-Nephews; Sam Frazer, Luca Tortora and Grand-Niece; Ellie Frazer.
There will be a small service for immediate family members later this year.
