Patrick C. Delor's Obituary
Patrick C. Delor, age 78, of St. Clair passed away peacefully in his home on June 19, 2024. Pat was born July 6, 1945 in St. Clair to the late Earl and Roselyn Delor.
Pat proudly served in the Vietnam War with the United States Army. He was a decorated veteran, receiving two Purple Hearts and two Silver Stars along with other commendations.
Over the course of his working career, Pat worked for Kammer Asphalt, Molesworth and Raymond Excavating as an Operating Engineer. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #382, St. Clair and the St. Clair Knights of Columbus.
Pat is survived by his children, Julie Brownfield, Jason (Beverly) Delor, Stacy Delor (Scott Baker) and Zach (Renee) Tanton; grandchildren, Mattie and Ryan Brownfield and his namesake Patrick Delor; best friend and companion of 21 years, Patty Tanton; siblings, Sam (Sharon) Delor, Mike (Anne) Delor and Pam Adler; in laws, Jane VanSlambrouck and Joe, Wendy, Matthew and Noah Tetreau and many nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
He was predeceased by his brother in law, Butch Adler.
Above all, Pat was a proud father, humble patriot, hard worker and loyal friend to many, that enjoyed the simple moments in life. He will be dearly missed.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held Saturday July 6th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #382, St. Clair. Military Honors will be rendered at 3:00 p.m. under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans.
