Patricia L. Wierszewski's Obituary
Patricia L. Wierszewski (Johns), age 59, of Marine City, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2025. She was born on January 7, 1966 to Pat and the late Chuck Johns. Patty was a graduate of Marine City High School class of 1984. On July 12, 1986, she married Bob Wierszewski. Patty worked as a medical assistant, but her passion was her family. Everything Patty did, was for her family. She had an incredible work ethic. She was selfless and took great pride in being a mother and grandmother. Whether she was attending an extracurricular activity or going on camping trips. Patty cherished the time she spent with her family. Her devotion to being a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend will be missed by all who loved Patty.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Wierszewski; children, Robbie Wierszewski, Jessie (J.J.) Russell, Shayne (Austin) Ainsworth; grandchildren, Charli, River, and Rylee Russell; mother, Pat Johns; siblings, Cheryl (Andy) Dombecki, Tammie (Bim) Shepard, Chuck (Colleen) Johns Jr., as well as several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Wanda Solgot.
A funeral mass will be on Saturday, January 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. Visiting hours will be on Friday, January 17th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. As well as one hour prior to mass on Saturday.
