Patricia Mae (Bohm) Smith's Obituary
Patricia Mae (Bohm) Smith, age 81, of St. Clair Shores, passed away August 9, 2021. She was born on May 7, 1940 and was the fifth child of Hazel and Michael Bohm. She was baptized on June 11, 1944. Patricia graduated from Denby High School in 1957.
She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Bon Secour Hospital for 42 years. She made many friends and threw many parties for the women and men she worked with. If any of her co-workers were having a baby, chances are she made a baby blanket for them.
Patricia was a very hard worker that always had a second job and occasionally a quick third job caring for people in their homes. She definitely instilled a hard work ethic in her children. Patricia was never without a pet in her home. She loved to crochet and until her hands gave out, she was always working on a project. As her parents did, Patricia would help anyone in need. She took care of so many people.
She is survived by her children, Linda Smith, Darlene (Dennis) Seibel, Brian (Kathy) Smith, Robin (Steve) Lemanski; grandchildren, Katie, Mikeal (Karen) Zachary, Ethan, Jake, Nicole (Bryan) Lester and Kyle (Jessica); great granddaughters, Genevieve, Brianna, Hailey and Annabeth. Patricia was a grandmother that always had games and crafts to share with the kids. She also was a preschool helper for Genevieve.
She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara, Shirley (Ronald) and Ellen; sister in law, Patsy Ann; many nieces and nephews; her good friends, Jim and Martha Victor and her cat, Princess.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents and two brothers.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 14th at 3:30 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., family will receive visitors at the funeral home one hour prior to service from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Urn interment will be in
St. Peter's Cemetery, Fair Haven.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Blue Water Hospice of Port Huron or A Rejoiceful Animal Rescue of Mt. Clemens, P.O. Box 46354, Mt. Clemens, MI 48046.
