Patricia Alice McCabe's Obituary
Patricia Alice McCabe died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the age of 74 at home surrounded by her family, after a brief illness. Patricia was born on September 15th, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Russell and Evelyn Darson. She graduated from Clintondale High School in 1961. She went on to marry her High School Sweetheart Patrick Michael McCabe on October 17, 1963. They celebrated 50 years of marriage. He proceeded her in death on June 19th, 2015.
Patricia was a homemaker who was the best cook in the world. She loved her soap operas and all the home shopping she could handle. She loved her family with all of her heart. She was so proud of each and every one of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her Five Children, Veronica (Jim) Hill of Ira Twp, Rhonda Warchol of East China, Kirk McCabe of Marysville, Tim (Patty) McCabe of St. Clair and Kim McCabe of Marysville. Fourteen Grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kristina, Jayson Hill, Natasha, Andrew (Megan), Ryan, Christopher Warchol, Jeremy, Kyle, Chad Smith, Joseph Choike, Nicholas, Cody, Stephanie McCabe and Jacob McCabe. Three Great-Grandchildren, Corbyn and Acelyn Warchol and Caislyn Smith. Brothers Leonard Darson, James Darson and sister Paulette Mackin. She is also survived by several brother and sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clair, Mi. on Friday, January 26th, 2018. The Rosary will be said at 11:00 am with the Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm.
A very special thank you to Dr. Kimberly Clark-Paul for the amazing person and gifted surgeon that you are, we will never forget your kindness and amazing care you gave to our Mom. Thank you to McLaren Port Huron Hospice for the impeccable care provided and a very special thank you to Monica Coffelt and Chris Jenerou. You two have been Godsends to our family throughout this process. The care you helped give our mother as we had to say goodbye to her was simply heartfelt and deeply appreciated.
