Pamela P. Bumler-Baker's Obituary
Pamela P. Bumler-Baker, of St.Clair passed away August 19, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 26, 1959 to Rolland and Gayle Bumler in Mount Clemens. She married Randy Baker on May 14, 2011 in Detroit. She earned her master's degree in education and worked as a reading specialist at Belle River Elementary in Marine City. She truly enjoyed working with students and instilling a passion for reading.
She is survived by her husband; Randy Baker, daughters; Jennifer and Elizabeth Baker, parents; Rolland and Gayle Bumler, sisters; Marcia (Kurt) Doolin and Linda (Mark) Hakim. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; Hannah, Paige, Lily, Andrew, and Grace, brother and sister in-laws; Richard (Pat) Baker, Michael Baker, and Rick (Cheryl) Baker.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St.Clair. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to the service. Memorials may be given to benefit the following reading programs at Belle River Elementary School:
