Pamela Sue Bailey's Obituary
Pamela S. Bailey, age 67, of East China Twp., passed away May 8, 2024. She was born March 30, 1957. Pamela graduated from Marine City High School in 1975. She enjoyed going to all the sporting events while in high school.
She enjoyed going to concerts and her favorite singer was Elton John who she saw perform during her senior year of high school. Most of all she cherished raising her two boys in the Gaylord area and taking them on camping trips, the more rustic was their favorite way to camp.
After the boys were grown she attended junior college in the Gaylord area. She later became a member of AmeriCorps who strived to bring Americans together and strengthen our communities. Pamela also was an advocate for nursing home patients under long term care.
She is survived by her son; Joel (Kari) Bailey of Cadillac, and her beloved grandchildren; Cordelia Bailey of Cadillac, Ian and Jameson Culp of Gaylord.
She is also survived by her mother; Carol (Rob) Joyner of East China, her sisters; Cherilyn (Pat) Aubry of East China, Michele (Kevin) Holt of Holland, Julie Joyner of St. Clair Shores and Jill (Art) Thomson of Clyde Twp., along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and loving care giver Kim Cain.
She was preceded in death by her son; Ryan Bailey and father; Richard Eber.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, Marine City. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
