Olive M. Shovan's Obituary
Olive M. Shovan, age 99, of St.Clair, passed away on February 16, 2016. She was born in Jeddo to the late Orren and Anna Gardner on November 27, 1916. She married George Frank Shovan on October 14, 1939.
He preceded her in death on July 4, 1975. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, St. Clair.
She is survived by her son; Frank (Jeanne) Shovan, daughter; Beverly Schuman (Don Fleury).
She is also survived by her grandson; Mark (Alex) Schuman, Steven (Teresa) Schuman and their children; Trista, Celeste, and Lukas, granddaughter; Wendy (Mark) McKnight, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters; Grace Streeter and Mable Hawker, brothers; Milford and Clinton Gardner, and son in-law; Irvin Schuman.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at First United Methodist Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be Friday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Saturday at church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Shovan's grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
