Norman F. Mrosewske's Obituary
Norman F. Mrosewske, age 88, of Kimball Twp., formerly of St. Clair, passed away with his loving family at his side on May 20, 2021. He was born December 23, 1932 in Shelby Twp., to the late Paul and Minnie (Behnke) Mrosewske.
Norm proudly served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955. On May 11, 1957 Norm married Doris Marie Stern at St. Matthews Church, Adair. He retired from the Diamond Crystal Salt Company in February of 1995. Norm was an active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair, serving on the church council and ushering. Following retirement Norm enjoyed researching his family genealogy and painting. Most of all he loved winning a good card game and spending time with family and friends.
Norm is survived by his wife of 64 years, Doris Mrosewske; children, Lori (David) Westrick, Shari (Pat) McCormick, Traci (Kevin) Ameel and Tim (April) Mrosewske; grandchildren, Michael (Melissa) Westrick, Lisa (Carl) West, Jamie (Tim) Marney, Chris and Shaun McCormick, Ally and Jake Ameel, Heather and Bethany Mrosewske; great grandchildren, Riley and Reid Westrick and Audrey and Carly West. Norm was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be Monday May 24th at 12:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
