Norma Elizabeth " Nummie" Thomson's Obituary
Norma Elizabeth “Nummie” Thomson, age 89 of St. Clair died, Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Nummie was born Nov. 1, 1921 in St. Clair to the late Willmond and Mamie Allen. She married Jut Thomson on June 28, 1941 in St. Clair, and he died in 1982.
She was retired from East China Schools where she worked as a custodian for over 30 years. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair.
Nummie is survived by her two brother, Jack (Gail) Allen and James (Claudia)
Allen, many nieces and nephews, and her friends at St. Mary’s Church and the St. Clair Coney Island.
In addition to her husband , she was preceded in death by her brothers Smokey, Capt. Eldon, Bill and Kenneth, her sisters Pauline Allen, Audrey Polan and Jean LaGrow.
Visitation Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., with Rosary at 7:30 PM. In state Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9:30 AM til Mass at
10 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials to St. Mary’s Church.
