Norma May Dawson's Obituary
Norma May Dawson, age 78, of China Twp. died August 25, 2013. She was born October 13, 1934 in Highland Park to the late Melvin and Thelma Arbitter. She married Carlton "Casey" Dawson on November 12, 1959 in St.Clair. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2009. Norma worked as a secretary for Biewer Lumber, Malcolm Excavating, and Fellowship Baptist Church. She also served as the church treasurer for many years.
She is survived by her children; Cheri (Jim) Axmacher and Ron Dawson, step-children; Diane (Don) Mathis, David (Shannon) Dawson, Clifford Dawson, Susan Stark. She is also survived by; 6 granchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister in-law; Dorry Arbitter. She is preceded in death by her brothers; John "Jack" Arbitter and Glenn Arbitter.
Services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, East China Twp. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at church prior to the service.
