Noreen Belling's Obituary
Noreen Belling, age 85, of East China Twp., passed away peacefully in her home with her loving family at her side on April 13, 2025. She was born August 6, 1939 in Detroit to the late Louis and Helen Blount.
Noreen started her working career at the GM Tech Center for a short time. After additional schooling and training she enjoyed a long career as an x-ray technician eventually retiring from River District Hospital in East China Twp. Surrounded by her family is where Noreen found her greatest joy. She was blessed to be able to enjoy her beautiful view of the St. Clair River from her home and thanks to her special caregivers, Julie and Greg along with many other caregivers, she was able to live out her final years at home.
She is survived by her children, Dave Bell, Greg Bell, Julie Belling and Wes Belling and family; many grandchildren, niece, Christine (Tim); nephew, Daniel; her loyal dog, Charlie and beloved cat, Lucy.
Noreen was predeceased by her husband Donald Belling; son, Jon Bell; twin sister, Nancy Priem and brother, Fred Blount.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Young Funeral Home, China Twp. No visitation or services will be scheduled and the family suggests, to honor Noreen, memorials be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
