Newell J. Lavely's Obituary
Newell J. Lavely, age 85, of East China Twp., formerly of Warren passed away February 10, 2014. He was born July 12, 1928 to the late Wilbert and Mildred Lavely. He married Dolores Kawalczyk on October 2, 1948. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from Mold-O-Matic in Sterling Heights after many years of service.
He is survived by his wife; Dolores Lavely, children; Debra (William) Carver and Daniel (Valerie) Lavely. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his son; David Lavely.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15 at St.Mary's Catholic Church, St.Clair. The family will receive visitors at church from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to mass.
