Nancy C. Distelrath's Obituary
Nancy C. Distelrath, age 61, of St. Clair, died May 9, 2016. She was born December 29, 1954 in St. Clair to the late Louis and Joan “Jeanette” Oles.
On June 22, 1979 Nancy married Dennis Distelrath in St. Clair. Nancy was employed for 39 years at Diamond Crystal, AKZO and Cargill Salt Companies. Nancy will be remembered by her family and friends for organizing and volunteering for many family and community activities. She also was an avid bowler, golfer and gardener and especially enjoyed her time together with her grandsons.
She is survived by her husband 36 years, Dennis Distelrath, children, David (Autumn) Distelrath and Kathleen (Eric) Moulton, cherished grandsons, Matthew, A.J., Nathan and hunter, siblings, Ted (Melva) Oles, Larry Oles, Tom (Cheri) Oles, Bob (Ann) Oles and Ken (Marilyn) Oles, father in law and mother in law, Harold and Kathleen Distelrath, sisters in law and brothers in law, Mary Beth Oles, Mike and Cindy Distelrath, Kaye Ellen Distelrath and Karen and Larry Campbell, and many nieces, nephews and very close friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by a sister, LouAnn Oles and brother, John Oles. Funeral mass will be Friday May 13th at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Thursday 6 to 9 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and family will receive visitors at the church Friday prior to mass from 10 to 11 am.
