Myrtice G. Lipke's Obituary
Myrtice G. Lipke, age 93, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 22, 2021. She was born January 20, 1928 to the late John and Ida Moilanen. On June 19, 1948 Myrtice married Bernard Lipke, who preceded her in death on February 15, 1982. She was a longtime member at St. Peters Lutheran Church, St. Clair. In her spare time, Myrtice enjoyed gardening, quilting, and baking. She was an avid baker, who was especially known for her cookies.
She is survived by her children, Eric (Patti) Lipke, Aaron (Karrie) Lipke, Karen (Jack) Johnson, Gail (Larry) Huffman, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 soon to be great great granddaughter, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her 13 siblings.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Myrtice will be interred next to her husband, Bernard.
