Miljojko Milenkovic's Obituary
Miljojko Milenkovic, age 84, of Clinton Twp., passed away January 29, 2023. He was born in Selo Luke Ivanjca, Serbia on January 18, 1939 to the late Vukoman and Leposava Milenkovic. He married Joan Karapandza on March 17, 1971 in Detroit.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his family. Miljojko was a true outdoorsman and lived life to the fullest and enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling across the U.S especially trips out West.
He is survived by his wife; Joan Milenkovic, his daughters; Elizabeth Milenkovic and Melissa (Scott) Zaborski. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Dylan, Alyssa and Abigail Zaborski, brothers; Bogosav (Danica) Milenkovic, Milutin (Nada) Milenkovic, Mladen (Zaga) Milenkovic, his sisters; Danica (Pero) Spasov, Gordana (Milos) Nikolic, Mira Milenkovic, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister; Zlata Ocokoljic.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2 at St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Cathedral-Ravanica located at 4575 Outer Drive E Detroit, MI 48234. Visiting hours will be from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. at church prior to the service. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery located at 18201 Clinton River Rd., Clinton Twp., MI 48038.
