Mildred Baird's Obituary
Mildred Baird, age 89, of Marine City, formerly of Sylvan Lake passed away March 24, 2014. She was born to the late Clifford and Alethea Elliott on June 5,1924 in Highland Park. She married Walter Baird on November 7, 1942. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1988. She enjoyed her time spent with her family. She also enjoyed gardening and working outdoors.
She is survived by her children; Linda (Jim) Savage, Sandra Baird, William (Dina) Baird, Barbara (Jim) Bowden, and Patricia (Tim) Dooley. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 29 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
